King Pacific Lodge Commits to 50% Carbon Footprint Reduction by 2012

Surrounded by pristine wilderness of British Columbia, King Pacific Lodge offers its guests access to great hiking, whale watching, kayaking and other adventures.

The lodge has committed to a carbon footprint reduction of 50% by the end of 2012 by retrofitting and other improvements. The lodge is on track to achieve a 40% reduction by the end of 2009.

Guests are incentivised to choose the "zero paper vacation" by receiving a 1% discount on their trip when they receive all information electronically.
